Today the Board of Commissioners met in a special session to identify the final candidates who will move forward to interviews for the Commissioner vacancy.
Thank you to everyone who has shown patience throughout this process — and especially to the candidates who stepped forward to serve our community. Your willingness to engage in public service is deeply appreciated.
I also want to thank the many community members who have provided thoughtful feedback. Your voice matters in this appointment process.
The next meeting date is TBD (as of 2.12.26). Once it is scheduled, I will share that information publicly.
In the meantime, please take a look at the finalists and let us know your thoughts. This is an important decision for Lincoln County, and community input continues to be welcome.
